I don’t have a witty or clever subtitle for this one.
In fact, I won’t be attending barbecues or setting off fireworks or even attending a display. I’ll be working. In fact, I’ll have to head out in about an hour. Now don’t feel sorry for me because I’m fairly certain that I’m getting time and a half today and free food and all the coffee, tea, soda, frozen sodas, etc that I can possibly drink. I might have a Sprite today. I’m probably gonna be busy as hell, who knows?
In any case, if you’re attending any of these events and you’re off today, I’m happy for you. Go celebrate our nation’s independence from tyranny but I want to leave you with some sobering thoughts.
First among them, Nick Freitas, whom I discovered via YouTube short videos, posted this and I have to agree…
Nick isn’t your run-of-the-mill conservative and he and I may differ in opinion on a couple of things but I find him to be one of the smartest and most creative out there. His videos are a mix of humor, politics and life in general. I hope that you’ll give him a look sometime, he’s not only entertaining, he makes great points.
Including the one in the tweet above, however, I counter with where is our representation anymore? It seems like politicians are spending like crazy. If they can just print money, why do they even need ours and why are we struggling these days to make ends meet while they live in luxury? And I mean politicians. Not billionaires or millionaires, I don’t care about them. Politicians these days are far less interested in doing their jobs, representing us, and instead, making every attempt at gaslighting us while attempting to rule as our betters.
The division we see today is a distraction meant to keep the heat off of them and I’m convinced of it. Nearly all of them, without exception should be fired, banned from ever holding office and apply that to at least several generations, term limits firmly set in place and made ironclad and set up political office to be a term of service similar to jury duty so that the American electorate is a true reflection of the American people…at best. At the bare minimum in my singular opinion, this is what should happen. At maximum, each and every one of them (with very very scant few exceptions) should be arrested on charges of sedition and put on trial for their actions as they do threaten the very fabric of our way of life.
Another thing, the division in this country is really not between the haves and have nots, that’s a fabrication. The divisive lines that have been drawn are between the entitled and those forced to pay for it.
Right now, we’re getting daily news about companies that made these divisions a reality everywhere suddenly bailing. Many companies have decided, after losing a fair amount of money that they’re returning to a merit-based system where, skin color and background notwithstanding, it will be ability, drive and desire that will decide how far up the company ladder an employee will go.
Needless to say, I didn’t want to leave you feeling that things were hopeless, the fact is that the dividers, actual racists, etc…those masks have not just slipped, they’ve been straight up discarded. These people losing the ability to have their way and live any sense of “privilege” that they haven’t earned it’s infuriated them and it’s showing more and more every day.
Those two things alone are just a couple of the many items I want you to think about, not during your celebration unless you’re just willing to share the good news after leveling the bad news at people but after.
In fact, I’m encouraging all of you to spread the news that that those willing to go out of their way to undermine and destroy our Constitutionally-protected, inherent freedoms, it’s failing and they’re desperate to maintain the control they have while expanding it. What’s really important is that a reasoned approach is what is necessary in order to regain, maintain and expand lost ground.
We’re going to have to make a series of decisions and we’re going to have to truly think them through. We can no longer afford to be reactionary, it’s what got us in trouble on more than one occasion. As I’ve pointed out in articles past, our desire to “own” this group or that group, it needs to end.
I say that because the mentality of “It’s okay if we do it” will only get us more of the same.
Personally, I want no control over anyone’s medical procedures. Zero. I don’t want government involved in our Healthcare in the least. I think the ACA has proven to do absolutely nothing in the way of making healthcare affordable.
My question when it comes to affordable healthcare is, what is Istanbul, Turkey doing that we’re not? I mean, have a look at this!
Where did we go wrong? That hospital looks like a resort! In fact, as much as I loathe going to a doctor’s office, I’d actually go to that one.
I could go on and on but honestly, I’d rather hear from you. Where could we go that would make our country free again? I’m asking everyone to keep the comments section civil and polite.
I want to show you one more thing and thank each and every one of you for reading this so far and sticking with it. I really didn’t have anything specific planned for today but I just wanted to plant seeds and see if maybe there was something we could do that would not only restore our liberties because, I’ll admit I don’t have a lot of answers but I know we do and I think if we’re going to make it happen we need to do it together. I’m not a fan of Crowder but I think his guest was absolutely amazing and shows us something insightful about our Constitution and why it’s there. Have a watch and thank you again for reading.
I honestly think we need to follow Argentina's President Milei and starting axing government department and agencies. Department of Education? Gone! CIA? Gone! NSA? Gone! Etc. I think the Federal government should only do five things maximum:
1. Protect our Constitutional Rights.
2. Enact Pro-family Welfare/Taxation polices (and gut the rest)
3. Law Enforcement/Military.
4. Foreign Policy.
5. Immigration. (And work with states to guard and patrol the border)
